Top Sun is a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home in Port Aransas, Texas, in the Beachway Community.
Of all the Beachway homes, this one draws the most consistent comments about the rooftop
deck: guests have watched New Year's fireworks from up there, heard live music drifting in from
restaurants a block away, and used it as the default end-of-evening spot throughout their stay.
The ground floor is a well-lit open-plan space with a living room centered on a large flat-screen
TV with streaming and cable. The kitchen has brand-new stainless steel appliances including a
gas top burner stove, a coffee maker, and a large pantry. A dining table seats the group, and
additional bar seating along the kitchen island gives everyone a place to land. The half bath is
just off the kitchen, and the back door connects to the private pool area. An outdoor shower on
the side of the home is ready for post-beach use.
Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms are upstairs. The primary bedroom has a king bed,
smart TV, and ensuite bath. The second bedroom also has a king bed and a smart TV. The third
bedroom has a king and a full bed separated by a privacy wall. For a ninth sleeper, there is a
twin bed in the living room. The washer and dryer are on the second floor.
The gas top burner stove is a practical upgrade over standard electric. The kitchen is fully
stocked for cooking, and the dining setup between the table and bar handles morning coffee
and a full group dinner equally well.
Out back, the private pool area is fenced and accessible from the kitchen's back door. An
outdoor shower is on the side of the home. On the rooftop, the view spans downtown Port
Aransas, and the energy from the restaurant and bar strip is close enough to enjoy without
being on top of it. Pool heating to 80-85 degrees is available on request for an added fee.
Wi-Fi and cable are included throughout. Smart TVs are in every bedroom.

The Beachway Community is in the center of Port Aransas, and Top Sun's position in the
complex gives it a clear line of sight toward the town's main activity area. Restaurants, bars, and
souvenir shops are all within a short walk. The beach is roughly a 0.75-mile away, and golf carts
are a popular way to make the trip.
If you are heading to Port Aransas to eat well, stay out late, and be close to the action, Top Sun
is the unit that fits that plan.
