Great accommodations for a family trip. 8 adults all slept comfortably, and there was plenty of room for us to eat together around the dining table. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans and utensils. Lots of places to park cars (garage and driveway). Plenty of hot water. There is no direct beach access (no boardwalk) for this neighborhood, so you should be prepared to drive to the beach rather than walk. The community pool is an easy walk across the street. The neighborhood is closer to HWY 361 than to the water, but you can see the ocean over the dunes from the top balcony.
The yellow house in Casa Bella was wonderful! It's brand new, can still faintly smell the fresh paint. There are 3 large porches with lots of seating and the house is right across from the little community pool. You have to drive to the beach but it's only a half mile away to an entrance, and we always bring so much stuff, it's just easier to drive. It was my birthday, so my husband made arrangements with John to decorate it. So cute!! Thank you!! We will be coming back next year for sure!
We had an amazing time at this house. My boyfriend arranged to have the house decorated for my birthday with the owner as a surprise. It was so nice!!! The house is brand new, it has a modern but laid back beach style. Plenty of amenities; pots, dishes, utensils, etc. just bring your own spices if you cook. The community pool was nice, right across the street from the house. Beach access is less than a mile away from the house. Everyone had a blast. Will definitely rent again!
Loved everything about this house... Price, location, privacy. We visit the beach at least twice a year and have stayed at many different properties, but this find is our newest favorite. We'll definitely come back. The layout of the house, the balconies & especially the deco were amazing. Sleeps 12 very comfortably.
The House is in very good condition. John was a big help with making sure that the reservation process was easy. From the back porches you have an awesome view of the dunes and the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked. I rented this house for a fishing trip with the boys, and loved it. It would also be a great place to bring the family.
John, Everything was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, family friendly, and a good fit for us. There are a couple things that need attention.. We had issues with the toaster and the toaster oven. We couldn't get them to work. Also one of the sinks upstairs was plugged. It was no big deal, we made do! Thanks again.
The home is beautiful and very clean. Robert, was a great help, we had been given wrong door code and wrong internet code. Robert fixed both immediately. I have no idea what house the description was written for - not this one. BR on main level does not have a king or TV or any drawers. No clothes hangers in the whole house! Both beds upstairs are kings. Only 3 beds in bunk room. No linens for futon. There are 3 TV's not 5. All the coffee cups had coffee rings and the wine glasses had lipstick on them!! We went to store and got things to cook on the grill, opened grill, no racks. The only way you sleep 12 is if you sleep on the floor. I could continue, but you get the picture, if you need it, bring it with you! Having said all of the above, we made the best of it and had a good time with family.
Awesome house with amazing updated amentities. Access to a private pool was a plus and the house provides easy access to the beach. We happened to be in Port A for a fishing trip, which this location allowed the perfect starting point to either Port A for dinner and nightlife or Marker 37 for fishing the bay.
Great place for a beach getaway. The house was very cute (exactly as the pictures show) and the rooms were perfect for us (we had 5 adults and 7 little ones). There were great views of the Gulf on both decks. All the essentials were provided. They even had a slow cooker that we set up before spending 6 hours on the beach. It was so nice to come back to a warm, home-cooked meal! The pool seemed nice but it was too cold for us at the time. We liked the location too. Our only complaint was that we could not check in at 4pm as they had advertised because they hadn't finished cleaning it yet (it was done at 4:45, so not a really big deal). One of the property managers, Robert, was easily reachable and came to the house to make sure the place was cleaned up as fast as possible. He said they were very busy because it was Spring Break. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars. Overall: we would highly recommend it to others and will likely be back again. Thanks for a great stay!
This was a great house. There were very few other families in the subdivision. It made it feel a little more private. There are views of the ocean from second and third story balconies. The house had everything. Having the kitchen, dishwasher and grill allowed us to cut down on costs and eat healthier. There is not direct beach access, but the access road is close. It allowed us to take our cooler and water toys. Thank you for sharing your home!
We loved our weekend and stay in the home, it's very cozy and has a great view of the beach from the top balcony. It's away from the city giving it a nice country feel but close enough that the drive into town is only a few minutes away. The house was very clean and had all the essentials needed. The pool was nice and a very short walk from the house. If you're looking for a great place away from the city this is a great choice
My family had a wonderful time during our short stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone. We had minor issues and reported them and the response from Robert , the property manager was excellent . He arrived in a very short time and took care of them, he was also very courteous and professional. I assure you that you will not regret choosing this home!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Great memories and even though no direct access to the beach, so close to it. Only issue were the bad case of mosquitoes in the home, but mainly I believe were due to the pond right across from the home. I will definitely return here in the future!! No issues with check in or check out neither.
This House is a very nice house. However, if you expect to be close to the water, this house has NO beach access except by roads several miles away. The property is nice. The biggest issue was the kitchenware. The pans should of been trashed, as they are cheap and old. We had to buy a non stick skillet to cook eggs. For a property this expensive I expect nice dishes, not melamine that you can’t put in the dishwasher or microwave. The house was reasonably clean, but could use a deep cleaning, such as the furniture. The pool is very close, and was the best part of the house. It is great to relax in, which we did every day. If you want to go to the uncrowded parts of the beach, you need an SUV or 4 wheel drive truck. We spent several evenings on the beach, Overall, besides the dishes and lack of beach access, this is a very nice house. The reason for the 3 Stars was the little things in the house, not the lack of beach access.
Thank you for your review and appreciate your recommendations/observations. We will address your recommendations immediately.
Reasons I gave it a 4 and not a 5. A little farther away from North Parde or Port A than I liked. Going to the nearest gas station takes 10 minutes driving 60mph. Also they we're missing some of the bare essentials. We had to go buy trash bags AND toilet paper. There were no extras of either. Community pool is across the street and is a great place to spend some time. AC blew cold, the beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean when we arrived. All in all, I would go back if we needed a house in this area.
Ryan: Thank you for your review and comments.
This home was perfect for 3 couples and 6 kids. Each bedroom is connected to a bathroom and a stand alone 1/2 bath. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything we could have needed for cooking was there. The pool and hot tub are directly across the street and 90% of the time we had it to ourselves. There is a beach just a few minutes drive from the house. We will definetly consider this home again.
Spent weekend with family. Very nice house and very accommodating. Unfortunately the area where the house is located is in a swampy area (especially after all the rain and flooding) in which the the mosquitoes were terrible. You could not go outside without being attacked by 20 or 30 of them at a time. They said they had sprayed but I really couldn't tell that it helped much. House or community does not have direct access to beach and we had to drive a mile or so to park road 2 but not an issue. Tv channels were limited or blocked (even basic channels) so it would be nice to have more included. Community hot tub jets werent working and was told it has been out for two years. Pool was great and enjoyed time there Owners were very responsive as I let them know about any issues that came up while we were there.
Overall an excellent experience. No actual beach towels provided, which was fine because we brought our own. The sleeper sofa only does two positions, neither of which are very comfortable. No extra blankets either. But we had a great time. Only a mile from the nearest beach access, where you can drive onto the beach. A local dollar general and gas station are within 8 miles of the property, so anything the house doesn’t have or you might have forgotten are not far away. All that matters is that you go with people you enjoy being with and any little conveniences of not being in your own home/bed don’t matter.
No beach access but it wasn’t far. Pool was conveniently across the street. No pool lights at night. House was clean and spacious. Beautiful views. Quiet area. 11-12 fit comfortably in the house easy. Plenty of towels and extra sheets. No extra blankets for anyone staying on the couch. We would stay again.
